The honest summary: the site is free and informational, and no business listing here replaces calling the place before you go.

What this site is

A reference site about places and services. We gather public data: how many businesses of a given kind an open map dataset records in each Brazilian city, the dialling code of each municipality from the telecoms regulator, the clearing and payment-system codes of each bank from the central bank, straight-line distances between state capitals from official coordinates, and the official channel of each utility for requesting a duplicate bill.

We sell nothing, broker nothing, are not an agency, and do not represent any of the businesses listed. Nobody pays to appear, to move up a city ranking or to leave it.

Where a business listing comes from, and why it can be out of date

The business lists come from Overture Maps Places, an open map dataset maintained by an industry consortium and published under open licences (CDLA Permissive 2.0, Apache 2.0 and CC0, depending on the provider of each record). We filter by the record confidence score, remove duplicates and check the city against the official list of municipalities. We do not type, edit or enrich a listing: the name, phone, website and address are the ones in the dataset.

That has a consequence we would rather write down than hide: the dataset is a snapshot of one date. A business that closed, moved, changed its number or changed hands after that collection is still in the snapshot. Treat every listing as a starting point for finding the place, never as confirmation that it is open. If a listing about your business is wrong or you want it gone, write to us: we remove it without demanding proof and show you how to fix it at the source.

About the accuracy of codes and distances

Codes are copied from official lists with no recalculation by us. Even so: the published dialling-code file dates from 2019 and does not cover municipalities created later, the central bank participant list changes whenever an institution joins or leaves, and the distances we publish are straight-line, computed with the haversine formula between the coordinates of each city seat — not road distance, which is always longer.

Every page states its source and its date. Before using a figure to decide anything, confirm it through the official link on the page itself. Nothing here serves as a document, a certificate or an official record.

What we deliberately do not publish

No street-level postcode tables. The national address database is licensed by the postal operator and the free mirrors in circulation have no clear commercial licence — we would rather explain how the code is structured and send you to the official lookup.

No coupon codes. Without an affiliate-network account there is no live source of coupons, and inventing a code or copying one from another coupon site would waste the time of whoever arrived looking for a discount. What the brand pages explain is the kind of saving the retailer actually offers, with a link to its official channel.

No bill, barcode, amount or anything else from your utility account. The duplicate-bill pages take you to the utility official channel and stop there.

What you may do with it

Read it, print it, quote it and send the link to anyone. If you quote a figure, quote the official source too — that is what gives it weight, not us.

You may not scrape the pages in bulk to build a lookalike directory. The underlying data is open and you can download it straight from Overture and from the official agencies under the same licences; what is ours is the written text, the page structure, the cleaning of the dataset and the translations.

Ads and outside links

The site is paid for by advertising. Ads are served by third parties and never depend on the subjects we choose: there is no sponsored city, no sponsored category and no text traded for money. A page that admits it does not have enough data carries no ads at all.

Links to government agencies, to a utility website, to a retailer official channel, to Wikimedia and to Google Maps lead off this site, and what happens there is not under our control.

Changes and governing law

These terms can change when the site changes. The version that applies is the one published on this page.

Any dispute follows Brazilian law, as that is where the person responsible for the site is based.
